WATERFALL - Live Music by BLM Eastern Sierra's Composer-In-Residence

We’re thrilled to invite you to see a soft launch of WATERFALL, a new live show and album created by composer Daniel Walter during his artist residency with the Bureau of Land Management in the Eastern Sierra this past summer.

WATERFALL is a sonic and visual meditation on the Los Angeles Aqueduct, tracing its journey as it carries water from the High Sierras through the Owens Valley down to Southern California. In this performance, Daniel will blend live piano and electronics with field recordings and video to create a singular experience that unites this vast megaproject in one immersive work. This show will also be the foundation for a permanent soundwalk installation at the Mobius Arch trail in Alabama Hills.

If you’re drawn to meditative, ethereal piano music, nature, and moments of avant-garde wonder, we think you’ll love this experience!

Attendance at this event is by donation. Suggested donation $10. Nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.

 Location: C5 Studios, Bishop, CA
Date & Time: Saturday, November 30th at 5pm
